MOD 2 / Case Study Test
The first step to gaining the Initial Driver CPC Qualification is the Case Studies Test. like the theory test, the case studies test is also carried out on a touch-screen computer. The aim of the case studies is to not only test the knowledge of a candidate, but to test how they would put that knowledge into practice.
The candidate will be given 7 case studies that are based on real-life situations and scenarios that a driver is likely to come across in their working lives. This may be, for example, driving on icy conditions, or even being asked to carry out non-driving work when taking weekly rest.
Each case study or scenario will be accompanied with 6 to 8 questions.
The pass mark is 40 out of a possible 50.
Once you have passed each individual theory test, you will be told whether you have passed or failed in the form of a letter combined with a printed certificate.
