Did You Know Driver's Hours Fines Are Changing?

DVSA has announced that from 5th March 2018 it will begin to issue on-the-spot fines of up to £1,500 for any Driver's Hours offence committed by commercial bus, coach and LGV drivers within the last 28 days. 

The current law only permits examiners to issue spot fines for offences committed on the day in question, or for any on-going offence, such as the manipulation of tachograph records.
